Major Accountabilities:
• Expert computer system utilization for tracking, logging, verifying, reporting, the input of closed work orders and pick lists.
• Receive and inspect goods, match to purchase order, place in appropriate inventory locations, verifies quantity, weight and conformance of materials (acceptance by QC) and update computer -- be able to resolve any differences between purchase order and items received.
• Coordinates International and Domestic traffic with FedEx, UPS, DHL and other carriers as needed. Efficiently pack items to be shipped, ensure the appropriate items are being shipped, prepare the bills of lading and other shipping documents, and ensure the trucks are properly loaded. Communicate with freight carriers to schedule shipments. Mark items with identifying information as required.
• Maintain inventory of shipping supplies and reorder as necessary.
• Maintain physical control over parts and hardware inventory and issue to shop floor production under proper documentation.
• Perform cycle counts as directed and reconcile differences.
• Maintain proper inventory locations and ensure items returned to stock are in proper locations.
• Issue work orders as required, update and maintain material flow on the work orders on the shop floor.
• Responsible for maintenance and organization of shipping/receiving areas including loading docks.
• May operate fork-lift, pallet jack or other device to move, convey or hoist shipments.
• This position requires strong computer verbal, written communication skills, Microsoft Dynamic AX a plus.
• Hourly position – Monday thru Friday 9AM-5PM, - overtime as needed.
• Occasional local deliveries using company panel van.
Job Requirements:
Physical Limitations: Work requires lifting, pulling, and carrying up to fifty (50) pounds.
Minimum Education Required: High School graduate required.
Minimum Years of Experience Required: Two (2) years in an S&R capacity in a manufacturing environment utilizing Microsoft Office – Excel, Outlook and Word
Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record required.
