these snowshoes manufactured by A&F.H. co. in 1943 for the U.S. Army 10th mt. division are in pristine condition. they are an original pair. the date stamps and serial #s are a perfect match. I have yet to find a set in this almost new like condition. the webbing is completely intact no tearing or fraying, only normal evidence of boot contact at the binding location. the frame shows signs of very little use, the varnish slightly dull on the bottom but still shiny on top. the leather binding straps could use a little T.L.C. cosmetically speaking but otherwise complete and in very good condition. I believe my asking price is in the ballpark having searched the market, but willing to bend a bit depending on any polishing I may perform on my own in the meantime. thanks for reading, be well and have great day.
