Direct Support Professional / Caregiver / Home Health Aide
Hello,
My I am currently seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP), companion/caregiver, or Home Health Aide (HHA) position in Scranton and Lackawanna County area. I am dependable, patient, and experienced in both in-home care and childcare settings.
I have hands-on experience providing care for a senior client recovering from a traumatic brain injury, as well as working in preschool and childcare environments.
Experience Includes:
In-home caregiving (2019–2023) for senior with mobility and cognitive challenges
Assistance with activities of daily living
Medication reminders and appointment scheduling
Transportation to doctor appointments, pharmacy, grocery store, and bank
Light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation
Companionship and emotional support
Preschool childcare experience (3 year) supervising children in structured settings
Babysitting / in-home childcare experience
Skills:
Strong patience and communication, listen to client needs
Safety supervision
Ability to follow care plans and routines
Reliable transportation
Fixed schedule weekdays between 7:30 am to 3:30 pm
I am currently enrolled in an FDC certificate program (in progress) and open to training or agency onboarding requirements.
Availability:
Open to immediate start pending ELRC
Location: Scranton willingness to travel to Taylor Dunmore area
