Take over our small startup! (Carbondale, PA)

Looking for a super motivated individual to take over our mostly ecommerce cookie baking start up business.

Little to no startup cost to you!

Ideal candidate will have a degree in marketing, business, or culinary.


A buddy of mine and I started this business and were having decent success in the beginning. Unfortunately life took a different turn for us and we do not have the time to run it.

I feel with the right motivated individual this could be the opportunity of a lifetime and become something super successful.

With the minimal advertising we did and social media posts, we were getting a couple orders a week with not much effort. If you really work hard at marketing or invest some money into marketing I believe it has the potential to be very profitable.

What you will get:

Slightly successful business.
$17,000 in packaging
$2,500 in equipment
$200 dollars in ingredients
Small customer base.
Email list of 150+ customers.
Formed website with pictures and verified reviews of products.( suprisingly very few from family and friends and most from earned customers)
Social media accounts with over 2500 followers.

Lastly, training on how to bake, package, and ship the product. Information on ordering more ingredients,packaging, shipping supplies, and all of the in and outs of the operations of this business.


Your responsibilities would include completely running the business:

Baking and packaging the product.

Packaging the product and shipping it.

Keeping track of supplies and ordering when necessary.

Updating the social media.

Running marketing campaigns or paying for marketing.

Working on search engine optimization, growing followers, email campaigns.

Potentially attending festivals.

Staying regulated with the vegan certifications.

Staying registered with the state.

Paying or doing the taxes every year.

Stocking the few local businesses that we sell our product at.

The operation:

We work out of a shared kitchen in Carbondale PA. We planned to move out when we expanded but for the time being it is very cost effective. You only pay for the hours you use the kitchen. You book the time as needed and can get in and bake whenever is available. The kitchen is pretty much available during the entire week and only available at nights on the weekend. We were baking about twice a week at first and were able to permanently reserve those days.

Once the kitchen is booked you go up and bake what ever you need to bake for your orders. After baking and cooling the product you run it through the packaging machine and pack them into boxes then into shipping boxes and affix the shipping label. The post office is right down the road to drop off the orders.

After baking we usually take inventory of our ingredients so we know what to order for the upcoming week. It's a pretty simple process.

The monthly costs:
This is an insured business, the insurance cost about $50 dollars a month.

Total: $120 (This is usually easily covered by return customers and the local businesses. We haven't had to invest any more money into the business in 2 years since the initial investment.)


The catch:

Since the business is still in its infancy we are not trying to sell it (unless you'd rather buy it out right.) Our plan is to let you take over the company with an 80/20 split of profits. 80% goes to you and 20% for us the founders. This would be under a contractual agreement and can be negotiated in the future.
