For sale is the rare, vinyl album "Rock & Religion" featuring two, half-hour episodes of the "Rock & Religion" radio show that was broadcast in August and September of 1979.
"Rock and Religion" was a syndicated, limited release radio program based in Sacramento and was aired from 1977 through 1981. The show was produced by Mary Neely and hosted by her and singer Michael Roe. It focused on spiritual themes in rock music. These two, half-hour long shows explored the topic of "Mystagogic", the influence of Eastern mysticism and philosophies in rock music. Music included in the shows include Moody Blues, Gary Wright, Yes, Genesis, Todd Rundgren, Kansas, and more. Also included are the original radio station cue sheets that have information on what is heard on each show.
