I wanted to try to create a faux wood finish on the top. So I painted it with Fusion Mineral Paint in Little Lamb and then went over it with a 50/50 mix of cappucino and driftwood stain and finishing oil, also from Fusion. I used a sponge brush and varied the pressure I put on each stroke so the colors would be variegated and natural looking. The SFO allows the natural grain of the wood to come through while adding armour like protection. The result is shades of grey, brown, taupe and everything in between. This table will match grey, cream, taupe, brown, tan and pretty in any other colors of chairs.
Next I painted the legs with a blend of Fusion Mineral Paint in Raw Silk, Cathedral Taupe and Casement to get the perfect farmhouse cream color. I protected these with a layer of Fusion Tough Coat.
This gorgeous table measures 44" wide x 64" long x 29" high. It is solid wood and VERY HEAVY.
This table has some natural and added flaws as shown in the photos. These aren't bad and mostly hidden under the table. The price is adjusted accordingly.
