Up for sale is a classic Smith Corona SD 660 Electronic Typewriter. This is a high-end, portable "bridge" model that combines the feel of a traditional typewriter with the convenience of early word processing.
Condition & Testing:
• Fully Functional: I have personally tested this machine. All keys strike clearly and the carriage moves smoothly.
• Ink/Ribbon: The ink is currently printing. It started a little light but darkened significantly with use as the ribbon advanced. It uses standard H-Series ribbon cassettes which are still widely available online.
• LCD Display: The digital screen is clear and functional, allowing for line-by-line editing before printing.
• Cosmetic: Great vintage condition with original snap-on hard shell protective cover included.
