Dirtbike starts right up, runs and drives, needs work. No title. Have some spare parts.
It's not very pretty and needs work but it could be good for restoration or for parts for another bike of similar vintage. This bike has been in my family since I was a kid.
Here's what I know:
* New right and left crank seals
* Rebuilt fuel shutoff lever
* Bike doesn't idle without a little throttle input. Have a carb rebuild kit for it.
* Clutch boss needs to be replaced if you want to actually drive this around. Its functional right now, but there's a stud inside that is sheared. Clutch boss can be found on ebay for $50-$150. P/N 1741637101
* Tires are very old.
* Brakes are weak, need to be serviced
* The exhaust leaks at the cylinder head, looks like the mounting flange holes are stripped and needs a helicoil and new bolts.
* Electrical is a mess. No battery. Headlight doesn't light up when running.
* Seat needs a new cover.
* Have new speedo cable. No idea how long the old one hasn't existed.
These things are all fixable, I just don't have the time or desire to work on them. Could be a nice winter project, most parts are still available online or easy to find.
