I have about a dozen vintage Ludwig metal snare drums. Supra's, Acrolite's, Super Sensitive, etc., most are $400 and up. While I would love to keep them all, it just doesn't make sense. Therefore, I offer this magnificent, rare, reasonably priced, beautiful snare drum to you, from my private collection.

1960's Vintage Ludwig Standard Series Chrome Snare Drum in superb condition! Ludwig Standard series were only made from 1968-1973. Low serial number seems to indicate late 60's. Appears all original right down to the brass tension rod washers! Aluminum shell offers a similar sound to Acrolite, with a brilliant chrome finish. Most of these drums have a brushed aluminum Acrolite type finish. This one is different and very few were produced. No extra holes! Minimal scratches, pitting or dents. Throw works perfectly. Brand new Evans heads top and bottom. Be unique and own a beautiful vintage snare!
