Requirements:
1. Can you hold a rhythm?
2. Are you breathing?
Not necessarily in that order.
If you think you’re not good enough to play in a band; then for us, you’re probably already over qualified.
Guitarist M49 and bassist F39 just starting out, have a few riffs we’re working on. Think we need a drummer to help us glue this all together.
Our sound is along the lines of grunge/sludge metal/doom and gothic metal. We’re hopping to add a keyboard to incorporate industrial elements.
Imagine Fear Factory meets, Type O Negative meets AIC meets NIN.
Experience isn’t important, as we are prioritizing chemistry.
Crazy rolls and fills aren’t necessary, but double bass kick would be a huge plus.
Also, we are looking for a drummer who wants to be part of the creative creation process. Not just someone who says “let me know when you have something and give me a call”.
A drummer who wants to be an actual equal member of a band. Not just a hired hand wanting to leach on at the end after all the real work has already been completed.
We are very much playing for fun, but the goal is to gig ASAP. So if you’re just looking for an easy payday this isn’t going to be what you’re looking for. If you’re looking to have fun with like-minded musicians…. And eventually play in front of people….. we’d love to hear from you.
